Have the option to get one in a trade. I was going to move my SAs to my truck once its running, to get a smaller setup in my car. Im going to get a Crescendo 1000C4, run my comps off the front channels, and bridge the rears for a sub. Amp is rated 500rms @ 4ohm bridged.

I was originaly thinking of getting a 12, like a DCON or something, that works well sealed or in a small ported box, or a pair of E8s. How would the 10in SSD compare? It doesnt have any extra options except high QTS, and is a single magnet one.

Looking for a somewhat loud SQ setup, something with even output across a wide range. Listen to mostly rock and techno so need more midbass then low end. Would the SSD sealed with about 450rms work for that?

If it has the high qts option, it's going to want to be in a sealed box.

ssd wants 800 rms...go with something smaller like the dcon or a dc level 2

I've heard only good things about the Dcons, and the specs look great for a lower tuned setup.

Im not really liking lower tuning, not enough mid bass. And thats just going from 36Hz to 32Hz. How are the DCONs sealed?
