fixing kenwood kac-929 that got wet

power light still comes on. no sound output. i went through the board and soldered the nasties and cleaned up a spot on the board that was corroded. the power light still comes on but still no output. how do i find out what components are shorted or blown? how should i go about finding the problem? i talked to kenwood im not paying shipping both ways, parts and labor im just not feeling it and by then i could buy a amp off ebay.

you might can try putting it in a microwave oven to dry it out....

it got wet about a month ago. since then id think it have time to dry

have you tried spraying some non contact cleaner spray on the circuit board and seeing if it works after that.....

its completely clean, is there a way to test it and see whats not functioning
