grinding gears ?

alright so im driving down the road and i got give my car a lot of gas in 2second gear...(its manual) and it made a sound like the trany is slipping? it only does it in second what the hell is this..... if i eas on the gas it's ok

could be a numerous of things, throw-out bearing, slave cylinder, clutch etc....

Does it make a chattering sound at idle?

no sounds at all at idle....... i think its something with trany but......if i drive it nice and let the rpms go up it does not make any noises.....
