Help mounting tweets in 2010 Mazda 6

So I attempted to install my Polk components tonight in my 2010 Mazda 6. The 5.25" woofer fit perfect in the doors with the adapters. Its the tweets I am hitting a wall with. I was hoping to mount the tweets in the stock location, but the Polk's come with a silver bezel installed that cannot be removed. See the pics below. Hopefully I took enough to show my dilemma.









Any help/advice is appreciated.

 
You have a couple options you could take

Take a hole saw and cut out the stock grill and place the Polk tweeter flush mount in there

Take a sharp blade and remove the stock tweeter tabs and epoxy the back of the sail piece to hold the tweeter in

I believe that the LC2i has a fixed subsonic filter at 33hz, that will affect the low end too. THe LCi2 pro has a set filter at 22 hz, better...

The cutting it off part is what I'm confused about now. The speakers in my car have two wires coming off of them but I would only have one wire on...

Im pretty curious as well.I am wondering what all took place for the supply for the demand?
