He should aim them towards the glass. Where you have them now is good but you should be test fitting these first before cutting the wholes. Use double stick tape or something listen to it and then after you've tested it then you should do the final install

Thanks for the info, they are sounding pretty good now I didnt want to slide them any further down because of the dash and I dont mind swiss cheesing the pillars because i have no ones on the way. If I roll the tweeter out anymore the edge of the tweet hangs off hte pillar nad looks like azz.

Experimenting the location of the tweets is hard and sometimes easy depending on the type of vehicle. Try to aim the angle towards the rear view mirror.

I think I have decided to put these up for sell and go with something that is naturally a little smoother and possibly easier to get right. Local shop told me to get a Bitone and they would tune the set. I think im ready to try some Dynaudio or HAT products.

My KRX2s sound really great, awesome sound quality and its the best components I've ever used. I think the problem was on your setting on either the HU or the Amplifier because my tweeter doesn't sound bright or harsh at all. Goodluck though on your new set!

+1. I thought i couldn't tune it since im choosing to do passive. Buh i have the crossover at -6. alpine cross over at 80 hertz at -10 pamaramic eq 3 80 herz -3 ep 4 1k at -5 ep5 2.5k at -6 . still a bit harsh. buh im using the pods right at my face.
