How do you bypass the factory amp on a 2007 impala?

run dedicated speaker wires - don't use factory wiring for the speakers. you have the GMOS for the HU and onstar retention (class II data bus). but you don't want or need to use that as the location to interface the factory speaker wiring.

run a pair of speaker wires from each speaker to the 4 channel amp. use RCA outputs from the Clarion to the 4 channel amp.
