How much power can SE's take on a daily?

arnt the rated for only 600watts. i wouldnt put more then 800 on em.

i powered my ten with a good 700watts, and it did quite well. but then again, its ALL in the install. you could probably get away with 800-900, but i wouldnt go too much over. a 1000each is a little much, unless you build the right box. but like bimma said, the truth is, you dont NEED 1000watts to see there full potential, mine did fine with 700, and i deffinetly expireienced the full effect of it, very nice sub.

RMS on the SE-12 I have in the Honda is 600W. For that reason I put the KX600.1 in my sig to it and it does pretty well. When the GB rolls around I will be picking up 2-10's or 12's for my truck install to finish it up. Want to start searching out an amp to power both. I thought maybe I could give them something with a little more room to grow. How accurate are the birth sheets that come with the Kicker amps? My 600 has a birth sheet rating of 755. Safe to say I have about the max going to the 12 in my Honda?

my 1200s say 1350 and 1400... somewhere around those numbers... pretty much around the area I have seen on most sheets. Look for something thats 1200-1500 watts at 1 or 4 ohms. I was thinking about another Kicker amp. Maybe a 1200.1? Don't see any talk here about Kicker amps so I wonder if they are just as good as the next or am I the only freak using three and looking for a fourth?

im going to be running 800w daily to my se 12" w/ the gains set just a bit low. its also in a 1 cu ft. sealed box.

I ran my SE off a ED nine.1 at 2 ohms for like 6 months. It sounded **** good.

How do you like that SE12 in a 1cu ft sealed? Thats the setup im looking at now. One SE12 in 1cuft sealed with a 600w rms alpine pushing it.

if you need 1000w per sub, your install is terrible tbh. they come alive in ported boxes and really only need ~600w - a 1kw~1.4kw amp would be MORE than enough.

How hard is it to look at RE's site???? http://www.reaudio.com BTW, to answer your question, it's 600....as stated on their site.

It because people are so used to overpowering their subs.
