No that amp will not work... you will need an amp that does 1500 + at 2 or .5 ohms...

Your gunna be spending a few hundred at least probably... But The AP 3000 would be nice budget for you...

That is a complete matter of debate lol... but which amp are you looking at? I have one that would work for you but maybe too pricey...
