I seem to be randomly losing 40-50% bass for short periods of time...

Well not even the audio shop dudes can figure this out, so I'm basically out of luck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Kind of depressing to spend all this money for nothing.

Assuming it really is the ELD causing this problem (still not entirely sure if it is or not), would the JL Audio 1000/1 bypass this problem since it claims it can run at 'optimal' power at any voltage between like 11 and 14.5?

We still need to know what amp is having the issue, make and model. Some mono amps only have 1 preamp input and the other is a output.

Any indication that a loose wire may be the issue? I'd start by checking all the +/- connections to see if one has come lose or is starting to...
