Ideal place to hook up a volt meter??

I have a supercap under hood and a headway in the back with my amps.. I just have a stinger cigarette lighter voltage meter but i am thinking about adding a hardwired gauge. Would it be best to wire it to the headway bank?

I would wire it as close to the amplifier as possible.

I agree, I had mine wired right into the terminals on the amp.

Ill be wiring my next one up at the amps battery bank area and run it to the dash to keep an eye on it
