is it safe to wire a audiopipe ap 1000 d down to a half ohm?

So going by your post that means you have dual 2 ohm subs? You can't wire each amp to .5 ohm, unless you mean strapping them at .5 ohm, which i really do not recommend.

 
Audiopipe 1k wont do rated, maybe 7-900 if lucky, i would say get a bigger amp or another if possible..something to compliment the subs

oh yeah they are 2ohms
