Is this safe?

So i wana test a set of components before i put them in my doors and mount the tweeters.Can i simply hook it all up to the amp (2 tweets, 2 6.5 inch woofers, 2 crossovers) and just lay it all on the ground to hear how they sound? Just for like 10 seconds? Or will this damage the speakers ?

LMAO.

Most mid drivers are designed to be fine in open air installations, having them on the ground is going to be rather similar to having them in the doors. You will do them no harm

Don't go crazy on power and don't expect them to perform as if they were installed.

Other then that, shouldn't hurt them at all.
