Just picked up a relic

So I scored this relic on eBay the other day. Reminisced on how I wanted one back when SI was relevant, and made the purchase. However, I'm kinda curious as to when the claw mags were made. Weren't they essentially the MKII Mag? I want to say they were made in like '01-'02, but I could be wrong. I can't seem to find a reliable source for specs on it nowadays either, as everyone has specs for the newer iterations (i use the term "newer" as loosely as possible. Anyone happen to have a link to guide me in finding a use for this blast from the past?

This thing makes my pants a little tight hahaha.

You are not correct in that "they were the mkII Mag". What you have in your possession is in fact an original Mag 12". Oh, well that's even better. I always wanted one of these back when they were relevant, but couldn't ever get my hands on one. I see in your signature that you own SI, would you be able to shed some insight on what the recommended enclosure size would have been? Looking at the T/S parameters, it seems like a woofer that would do really well in a sealed enclosure, about 1.25 cubic feet.

Regardless, I was really looking for input on mine, as opposed to the V3. I realize they shouldn't be too different, but I don't have experience with any revision, so I'm just talking out of my ***.

Pretty sure I ran one in 2.5 cubes ported with just under 1kw on it. I would say 1.5 cubes sealed should be fine with anywhere from 600-800 watts.
