I am looking at the Kicker 02RMB6 6.75 mid bass to sub free air speakers.
I am wondering if anyone has experience with these?
Do they function well without a box?
How much "free air" space do they need?
Are they good for an SQ application?
I am planning on fabricating a front to mount them to and positioning them in the footwell of a 2 seat convertible. They will be in fairly tight spots but won't touch anything other than the form they will be attached to and will be able to breathe air in but not as freely as if they were in a rear deck with a big trunk.
