my brother's box build log

Way better looking this time. But IMO both of those trucks are pretty ugly, I wouldnt brag about anything. But system looks better
I like both of them, his is to the point where you can race it pretty hard and not care what happens to it

you might want to countersink those screws. those screw heads can cause some major scratches.
edit: i just noticed you're the guy wanting to make people boxes for the price of materials.....
the screws are some he had lying around, it's not at my house, I countersink all screws.... plus look at his truck, you think he is pressed over some inside scratches? :p

im guessing the strip of wood in the middle is from where you messed up the port. but hey if it sounds good whatever //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
nah, he was cutting the wood and he accidentally cut the board for the front plate in half... so we had to glue it and screw it back together and hope it would still be sealed... which it is... no leaks FTW

The new box looks awfully big, for sealed. But then, Im not familiar with those subs, maybe they require a ridiculously large box? Build quality is much better than the first box.
its only 2.2CF :p

If they are 10's yeah that's about right. I guess it just looks big because its not very deep. Dang truck boxes.

I bet your bro likes the new setup, its gotta be 157 times better. lol

12's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Wow. lol

And yeah duh @ me, that'd be big for 10's. Nice job squeezing 12's in a reg cab. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

it's noticeably a lot louder then his 8 at 40WRMS....

right now he is having problems with his system though, no sound right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suicide.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif

I like it, not bad for what it is, and besides it was one of many boxes you'll build, it's better to screw up on families things instead of customers! It's always good to practice with something you know will sound iffy anyway. Good job on both boxes.

^^^ nice grand am
Not really so much anymore, it's pissin' me off. I had to hollow out the cat just to get it to keep from catchin' fire before I can afford the $100 for the new cat. I have to get 4 new injectors which is goin' to cost about $350, and I have to get an O2 sensor, new ICM, new IDI housing and coils, and I have to get a new clutch for it. I'm about to sell the peice of ****, as I can't afford it 'cause I have a child on the way, and for it being close to $1000 to get in GREAT running shape, I can't do that.
