My subwoofer isn't working right

I just got all my stuff hooked up and my subwoofer is vibrating slightly, if I turn the gain up a lot it vibrates a little faster but it doesn't have the boom and has no visual movement..how can I fix this??

Sub: DB DRIVE 12" dual 2ohm

Amp: DB DRIVE A6 1300.1d

Make sure it’s not wired out of phase. Go over the wiring

yep flip the wires on outside of box or if u have normal/reverse phase on amp or hu change setting..

Make a video and post as your terminology is confusing as to what is happening.

If using a single woofer, there will be no phasing issue of this magnitude.

Subwoofer turned on in the head unit's menu and level turned up?

When I was a kid a lot of my friends thought if they just reversed the + an - on 1 of two subs they would raise ohms. Lol (correct way is to wire a +an- together and run +to+ and -to- from amp to sub)

If done on a dvc wouldn't that make it fight its self and kill bass? Only way I could think that a single dvc wouldn't work.

Try reversing the polarity on ONE coil and see what happens... wow... what a trip

Usually a bad ground can cause that also.
