need help buying new amp plz

hello guys ..i need help choosing wich amp i should buy ...i wanted to buy an MTX THUNDER1000.1 its 1000 watts RMS 1ohm stable ..my subs are 2x 10'' MTX 500watts RMS each but 4ohm svc so my question is ... is this MTX amp good or not cuz of the 1ohm ? :S and if u go look at the spec of amp it say 1ohm stable but 600rms 2ohm and 400 4 ohm something like that ..so y it say 1ohm stable ?

It means you can wire it down to 1 ohm with Dual Voice Coil subwoofers and it can handle that low of an impedance just fine compared to other amps that will shutoff and go into protect mode at anything lower then 2 ohms. With those subs however, you might want an amp that does 1k at 2 ohms instead. Look for some used kicker or alpine 1k amps since those typically favor 2 ohm operation. If your on a budget though, grab a precison power black ice 1800.1D

I have an Old School American made MTX thunder 1000d that is rated 1000w @2 ohm (12v) if you're are interested in keeping the same brand.
