So when I turn on my head unit my subs make a constant thumping noise and if I turn it up too loud it's like it gets stuck on one constant bass tone. It happens when I hit bumps also just one bass tone.
Disconnect the RCAs at the amp and turn it on. If no noise, connect another pair of RCAs running over the seats to the radio and test it.
