tried search but no sucess,

so i finaly got my alarm back from the factory, they replaced everything for $20 cuz my old one would no longer disarm.

My question is if i were to strip the antena wire and use but connector to add some more 22~18 guage wire esentialy making the antenna longer, would this increase the range on the remote?

Or is it just a waste of time?

Thanks in advance!

You may or may not like the sound of just dropping into the stock locations but loading into the glass is definitely going to cause some issues...
