Ok I have decided to go with a 5 channel to finish my install and have narrowed it down to 3 different amplifiers.

Kenwood XR900-5 60x4 600x1

-little low in the 4 chan. but not sure I would notice a difference. Really like the sub channel rating. The big drawback I have with this amp is it doesnt have sub level remote. I know, I know, I will get flamed for that but I like to be able to tone down the bass if needed. Since I listen to lots of different music. I do have a PAC LC-1 I could use as a bass knob.

Rockford Fosgate p1000x5d 75x4 500x1

-generally underrated, I would have to buy the sub level remote.

Arc Audio xdi805 80x4 400x1

-never used one of the Arc's but found a really good price on one locally. Sub channel a little low and not familiar if this amp is overrated or underrated. But I can but it from a dealer for 300. MSRP is 469. So it sounds like a great deal authorized.

Whats your thoughts? Is 60 watts per channel gonna be enough? (comps undecided right now could always bridge it and run rears of the h/u)

I know Fosgate's reputation. (solid)

Is this deal on the xdi805 good and is this amp on par with these other two?

I love single amp solutions. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Have not personally tested either amp to speak from experience.

Just seems so much easier for a lower powered system in a tight space. Im past the days of needing 2k for my subs. LOL So It just make sense.

Really like the specs on the Arc for the price. Just wish there was more feedback on it...

I was very close to going with a ZED Leviathan for my daily driver, but opted for a Minotaur/Draconia pairing. Might do the Leviathan in the other car though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I got a spare Leviathan V1 (protect issue has been fixed). Acrylic top is beat up, but I'd take 525 for it if you're interested. Minotaur certainly gives you more on the sub stage, but I ran my leviathan to my fronts and a single sub when I first bought it and it was well balanced.

I run an NVX 900.5 and I love it

70rms x4 @4 and 400rms @ 2 for the sub.

70 per channel is great. I have ran 200 per mid in the past and honestly the install matters more than the wattage.

Thank you for the offer, but I am an authorized ZED dealer. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Actually looked into that amp. But I have decided to go with the Kenwood xr900-5. I got a screaming good deal on it local and from an authorized dealer. Plus I want the 600 watt sub channel just incase for later upgrades. If you havent seen this amp it beautiful and tiny.

No need to bypass the amp. Most use an LOC that takes the full amped signal and turns it into a flat RCA level signal. Here is the newest I have...

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...

Pretty much. It's just a nice kit. A solo rite Scarlett 2i2, XLR mic and a loop back cable are my next purchases so I can get accurate phase...

Slapz are sfb clones from my understanding. What I was pointing out is how much info slapz gives about their amps 😂
