Omg 9500!

ok i put my 2 12" 9500's in a sealed box in my truck yesterday with my modded mtx 1501D amp (speakers wired to 1 ohm) and wow in my opinion these puupies sound awesome! even when u turn it up real loud and its pounding like crazy it sounds good. i was very surprised. im not a serious bass head so to someone that is they might not sound so good but ive hears some subs and i think these sound amazing. and to think i olmost bought some L7's....

Imo 9500s dont perform well in sealed boxes. If your impressed with them for sq, I cant imagine how you would think a w6, or a xenon would sound in a sealed box. They are good woofers though. I was refering to them sq wise in sealed boxes. Im well aware the 9500 will be much louder then both of them put together. It was just funny to hear how hes not a bass head, but he gets these subs for sq.

Thats exactly all I was trying to say. They shine in ported boxes, but if he likes them, then thats all that matters i guess.

lol im not a serious bass head but i like to have some close to top of the line woofers (just the way i am) i woulda went with some jl w7's but man for 600 each i just couldnt afford it...i got the 2 9500's for 750...oh and i dont have the room to port it...or else i would. that and i built my own box and sealed are easier to beuild and im not sure how u would tune a ported one so i just stay away from that.
