one box or four? (or two?)

i have heard that a common or shared chamber for multiple subs increases the bass output by as much as 3 db opposed to each sub being in it's own sealed chamber within a box. i prefer putting each sub in it's own sealed chamber in order to achieve tighter bass. just my 2 centz.

Go with one big sealed box...but make sure that each sub has its own compartment...like its one box with 4 chambers...this also prevents flexing.

You don't get more bass in any config. There is a danger when subs aren't in their own chamber. If one fails any other subs sharing the air space will NOW see 2x the space which could cause the sub to over throw damaging the coil.
