Ive never had mine below 11V and that was for a loooong beating session at idle. Give them 14v at idle, 12v when bass is hitting and these will do full power. Mine has never gone into protect even at .5 and 11 volts. I miss mine, and am almost considering getting 2 2500D's Instead of my GP-3000Ds just because of how sexy and solid these amps are.

yeah i kept mine in the high 12's low 13s most of the time and it never really even got warm. slammed the hell outta my hd3 at the time

these amps are great......never had a problem always ran at 1ohm good clean power amp....
