1. Not that I have ever heard of.

2. I have read that some people have used USB HDD enclosures and they have worked fine.

There is a folder depth limit and a total song limit if I remember correctly. I have been looking to pick one up myself but I hear the interface is horrible.

True, the Interface is the worst I have ever seen

does not play videos just music

the good thing is that max HD is 250gb
