Pioneer DEH-P9800BT won’t play my ipod

OKAY .. stop with the USB and AUX options. You need to buy the Pioneer CD IB100II. I have the 780MP, which a lower model to yours. I have the Pioneer CD IB100II and it works fine. I have played mostly every ipod that me or my friends had. Never had a problem with them.

you do not have to buy the box to get the ipod to play, just to be able to control it through the deck. i have the same deck and the same cord and if you just plug the cord into the bus connection on the back of the deck you can play the ipod through the aux 1 imput. you just have to control the ipod through the ipod, but it will still charge as long as you connect the power and ground

I just want to use the Aux input but I can figure out how to get to the Aux source on the deh-p9800bt.
