Well, working on a buddys Jeep. he only has the front drivers side door speaker working because the speaked wire got pulled out of the other door. I hook it back up and the deck is in protect mode.

I tried reversing the wires, and I checked all my grounds/power leads and such, even disconnected the battery but nothing worked.

CD player is a Kenwood exceleron.

Any ideas?

Kenwoods seem to do this a lot in my experience. If the headunit is on and a speaker is pulled, it will stay in protect until you reset it. Need to find the little pinhole reset button and you should be good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif
