RD HW VS DD 9512 VS DC LVL 4 or 5

would u say with same power HW and the DC LVL 4 or 5 which is there a more prominently sq sub like basically i know they will alll bang hard but is there one i can enjoy with hearing music as well? Also do these subs need alot of box space because I am somewhat limited dont have a huge amount of room to use.

The HW can sound really great too. Steve will make them with custom parts where you can have SQL or SPL. If you were to get in contact with him, tell him your setup what music and what you plan to do with the subwoofer. He will build it to your needs. And yes, all those subs will be loud but there are a lot of variables to add in along with that.

I was going to say the level 5's for sure until I saw 1700rms each, My level 5 outpreformed my buddys 9512 in a direct swap in his car on 4Kw.

I have still never been fortunate enough to play with a HW or a SHW

The level 5 is cheaper than the HW? I actually prefer the look of the DC so if performance amongst these great drivers is quite the debate then either way is good so maybe I can save a few dollars.....How much for the DC LVL 5?

PM rusty for the price on DC drivers, he asks that we dont put the prices out there.

If the HW is $500 then the DC is close to that price range.

I've heard a pair of Level 4's with Level 5 coils and they didn't sound bad at all.

IIRC Steve had some used HWY motors and was selling several 12" Heavyweights at crackhead pricing

Off that power I'd say DC lvl4xl's or also consider the AQ HDC's as they will take that power easily and can sound very good. I run HDC's and a teammate runs the lvl4's, so I've heard both numerous times and like both set ups...
