how are these SQ and SPL wise i thought about gettin a single 10 or 12 and put it in my red cab ranger, looks like a pretty straight sub to me, im lookin for 75/25 sq over spl would this be a good sub for me? what can it be compared to?

SE's are very nice subs. Had mine in a 2^3 tuned at 33hz. sounded very good. I only had 300 watts to it and got really really loud. Also sounded pretty good with rock music.

Mine is sealed also, I had been told before I went to sealed why didn't you go ported? This subwoofer is the best subwoofer I have ever owned, better then my 12w7 & mtx 9500.... I wish I had a video camera to take some pron of it.... it makes my hatch move out at least 1-2 inches... and inside if a girl sticks here head inside it makes her hair lift up! Very awesome for a single 15.... had a kid say he has two 15Wo's and this sounds better then his by far... im very happy with my Se!

The guy has his own opinion ... if that's what his ears are telling him, then so be it.

I just wish I was like him ... I'd much rather spend $180 on a driver than $600.

Yeah I have had the W7 and the Mtx 9500... I like the RE SE the best.... im not saying ones better then the other, just my opinion, dont want to start anything, 9500 & W7 are just as good. Theyre all great subs.

Brahmas are nice. I have a 10" Mk1. Just a single 10 was enough for me.

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...
