If you happen to know of someone with an amp dyno local to me I'll drop it off to be tested. No birth sheet claims here just straight ratings from their website. I'm curious have you ever used a CP amp?

Friends have. 1000 and 1500.

I used RF all though the 90s.

I would also research some into rockville. They seem pretty popular lately. I don't know about their longevity though.

I've got a RF Prime 400.4 to run my 6x9's in my doors and rear deck and love it. Never had any issues with it. Nicely made, just the usual RF you'd expect. As for the price, I feel like there might better options for the money.

Meade had a few videos of these amps on the dyno and they always do quite well, always at least rated.

I found the prime 500.1 for $100

Is there something better at that price point?

I never understood how that amp sits at 599 that long than jumps. Never seen any other do that.

It ended up doing 8 watts over but .2v over 14.4.
