Well i heard from another member on here that it might not be that uncommon for the 405s or any SS refs. i guess to have a bad channel. The guy told me he was offered one for free and it had a "bad solder joint."
Does anyone know where that might be? I will take my amp out and look at the guts this weekend, i would just love to know what i am looking for. The channel goes in and out so i think its a loose joint or something like that too. He said it was an easy fix and i have the tools to do it so i would love to try.
Lots of Pictures are here
The channel that is messed up would be the middle set of speaker inputs (3rd white thing from the left) and the 2 inputs on the right. Sorry, that isnt a very good description. But any help would be great!
BETTER PICTURE: It is the middle set of speaker inputs, specifically the left channel on that set.
