Sq in substage vs frontstage

So I usually swap my audio part one by one. Once i had the loudness i wanted on my substage (dual type r 12ch ) i decided i love loud subtage, but with crystal clear mids and highs. Anyway the first investment was getting a nice 4channel amp, that i bridge latter on and then the front stage. I went with some entry cdt's then did a direct swap with id's ctx65cs. Now that was a big improvement over what i had before...</p><p></p><p>Then a month ago i called a fiQ 18inch coz i wanted something that could sound awesome to match with my awesome sounding frontstage. I had some trouble with the box but now it's tight and well finished. I'm powering the Q with a bxi2006d. It is as loud as my type r's were and it does sound deeper a a little better , but not as much as i tought a Sq sub would sound in my mind. I'm getting few little rattling noise that i need to work on tought...</p><p></p><p>So i just wanted to know if you think that Sound Quality in Substage is overrated ... compare to the mids/high sound quality. I mean, everything sound so much more detailed on my new frontstage, you can push it without being harsh even at incredible loud level, while the sub sound nice... but nothing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif I expected more "clarity" ... still some bass line sound like sit (ie go getta from jeezy 2nd album... wtf is that??? )</p><p></p><p>I tough an sq sub would make every line sound perfect //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif It does sound a little better than the R, but mainly only deeper and lower</p><p></p><p>Compared to the Type R, i expected a bigger jump in sq.
