subs for a tahoe??

I was looking for 2 12" subs to put in my tahoe, I want good SPL and good SQ. My friend said that JL Audio 12W6v2 were good subs. Would those subs be good for both SPL and SQ? Any better suggestions? ....I dont want to go much above the price of the 12W6v2's.

that price range is per sub. I am going to get a Pioneer P6900UB. Amp I am probably going to get Rockford Fosgate T10001bd. Wiring I am not sure

10001bd is a good amp, should power what ever 12s you go with pretty nice
