I will steal it from you with covert operations techniques and then tottie will pistol whip you for your shenanigans.

xxx tuned low still gets loud ass balls...tuned higher should produce soem good spl....its a freakign loud sub with the right setup...no doubt.....

not an spl sub.... then why did boomin beast do a 142 in the kick today w/ 2 18" xxx's?
first off i did i 145.1...

second i have a sedan with minimal air flow from the trunk to the front

third, I have the 18's sharing 9 cubes which is barely enough space.

fourth they are bein powered by 2 re 35.1's with no electrical upgrades besides 2 red tops.

fifth, will rebuild the box

how much power do the 35.1's produce?

You should lose 1 18, and rebuild the box. Doubt a single XXX can handle 2 re35.1's, but if it can, you should try it, because 145.1 in the kick with 2 18's, and gobs of power is a bit weak........

No offense though. Hopefully, you can get that thing louder

No man, i agree with you, my score is weak, and i know i can sound better.

The reason being a very akward box design.

What im really looking to do now is one of 4 things..

1. trade for 15's and rebuild the enclosure

2. rebuild the eclosure for the 2 18's

3. work with one 18

4. get 2 new 06 xxx 12's which require a hell of a lot less space

I did a setup with dual XXX 18's in a bed cut. 15 ft^3, tuned to 30 Hz. 4000 watts.

First time we ran a sweep, the guy running the TL said "do it again". Ran the sweep again. He opened the door shaking his head, and he said "something is wrong. your peak is showing 30 Hz". After a few TL runs, it did in fact peak at 30 Hz and did 147.4 dB at 30 Hz.

It may not win in SPL comps, but listening to heavy rap music is heck on a person's body, and the truck is already falling apart. . .
