Do yourself a favor and go to a real shop, that will install an alarm the right way. T-taps, and putting the alarm in plain site from under the dash is not acceptable.

This is a friends car.

 
id take it back and tell them they did a shitty job, and eaither re-do it, or get your money back.

that kind of **** is a fire hazard dude.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
