just wanted to let anyone know - if you are in the market for a 400~500w amp that will do that power at 4ohms (mono) - then i have the best deal around.

i just went to http://www.thezeb.com - and they had the profile AP1000 for $109 with free shipping. i thought that was a little much, so i shopped around. i found that the same amp at http://www.millionbuy.com was cheaper, but shipping would have gotten it up there - it was like 85+shipping.

so i went back to thezeb, and pricematched to millionbuy. i got an email today telling me they could offer that same amp for $78+shipping - turns out, shipping was SEVEN dollars!!!!!

so i got a 480w amp for $86 total. warantee, brand new in box.

well, its going for $110ish elsewhere, and profile does do near its rated power. but for $85 and not for me, its seriously a great buy for a dual 12 setup for a beginner.

Profiles do nearly dead on with power. I saw one bench tested a year or so ago and it was off by like 3 watts or something. That is an excellent deal, nice find Req

Nice find!

I've installed an AP400 and AP1200 in a friends car and they seem to be working out pretty good. Powering a set of Crystal Comps and a Dayton Titanic MKIII 15.
