looking to order some carpet and vinyl from PE. do i want the latex backed carpet or not? also, if its 48'' wide and i order say 3 yards, does that mean it will come in one piece, measuring 108x48?

If you need it to stretch then non-latex backed. Latex backed doesnt stretch as much.

unbacked is good for stretching/covering.

backed is good for like a false floor, etc.

well, im going to need to stretch it a little and also use some on trim panels. should i just go with the unbacked to be sure?

Latex backed isn't particularly hard to work with. You do need to cut the backing along edges though. It does offer somewhat better durability, though, and it sticks REALLY well.

Use unbacked if you plan on stretching it at all.
