I don't have any pic's of my vw's; but I used t own an '87 GTI 16v. A soccer mom backed up into it driver rear quarter panel when it was parked on the street:verymad:.

My favorite vw I owned though was my '91 Jetta Wolfsburg. It had a limited edition Seafoam Green paintjob. I dropped it about 2" tinted it limo black and it rolled on vw Pirrelli P-Wheels (really rare stock vw rims). I had bought a rotted out golf for 50 bucks & did an auto to manual swap on it. GLI exhaust; K&N; and rockford He2's were in the trunk. It became a victim of bad electrical after a while & I sold it.

Oh yeah, I also owned a Fox Wagon. Biggest piece of shtcar I ever owned. I did a reverse slam burnout(4spd stickshift) once so hard it literally blew the exhaust off the car from the cat back.

I know this was a really old post; but going by the bumpers and grille it's a '90-'92 golf. '85-'89 Golf/Jettas had a smaller bumper without that overhang and the grille had many more louvers. It also lacks the round headlights that a gti had.

Most of that stuff can be swapped around, but you have to replace the core support to install round headlights.

I got different rca's that are black and braided like the power wires but didn't take new pix since a couple months ago. also have black rca's for the in on the maxlink sitting here because the wife wants an SUV now so we're probably going to trade the vw in. not to **** in the thread but I personally hate the car and sometimes probably once a week want to run it over to get rid of it. its just small as hell which annoys me. it's european so it's a huge pita to work on imo. and just generally don't have any love for it. so I'm stoked the wife wants it gone. we've had it for like 2 or 3 years now which is a little too long for a car I don't appriciate. I hate the damm turbo too, gas it and it doesn't move then when it kicks in it pulls all of a sudden. irritates me on turning from a stop. my truck is far from stock and she can't loose me in her car even with 35"s sitting on 20"s clearly it gets better mileage but I didn't get a big truck and put on power additives and larger tires to get good mileage lol. they're nice cars. just not one I appriciate. I'm actually pretty picky I guess as I have issues with my truck too and want to get a power stroke with like an 8" 4 link setup instead //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif probably go with 37s on 20"s instead of the 35"s I'm sitting on now.. vdubs are nice, just not my cup of soda //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif more of a tea cup really and I'm a hard core cocacola addict so it really doesn't suit me and I get irate just having to ride in it usually. nor could I even own a honda I don't think. they're nice and I know they last forever if you don't put a folgers can where the muffler used to be. but clearly I'm more of a truck person lol
