Weekend Fun - MJ-18M + SD-12k

Say 10-15 cu ft @ 32hz with a couple 6" aero's. I know its hard but I was asking more so if its possible for the MJ's to take it. I ran 1200w RMS to one and it was great but that wasnt an MJ-m.
This guy under test was tweaked fairly heavily and probably wouldn't do too well at that low of a tuning. But let me get the BassRacing done on it and we'll take things from there.

I'll post the results here if you wish.

so those power ratings are at 16V+ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifvery nice indeed...

curious to see what they would be at 14v in a standard street set up

minus the battery bank //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

good stuff
Yeah I suppose. I assume you are referring to the raw output of the amp at that voltage?

I was truely suprised by this driver. It was quite the evening test session.....Oh and Murilo is crazy! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Ok, so we did some BassRacing with the unit today. It held up to 4kw over the 30 second duration, but was stressed. We concluded that 3kw is a good number to apply to them.

The rest would of course be up to the install. The output we saw in our setup would make this a good 139.9 driver.

Hello George

Actually those bats are pretty dead.

When the amp outputs 16kW the batteries drop to 14.5V, with 2 amps 30kW and 13V.

I can say that now that is the main reason why the van is not doing 59.9 with one amp, but after rounding the box and new door panels I think will be done.

Yeah, much has been "adjusted" on this unit. I'll be doing up a few more tweaks - who knows, maybe after that it could take 4kw easily...

Sure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
