I'm looking at possibly installing a set of Image Dynamics CTX 6.5CS. I know they are said to be deep.
I have a 2012 Camry. I have not removed the door plans to check the dimensions myself. According to crutchfield I have available depth of 2.892" and a mounting height of .659" which I believe is the distance from the front of the mounting area to the back of the door panel.
The specs for the CTX speakers show a mounting depth of 2-7/8" or 2.875". So it looks like it is tight but should fit. If not, I should have room for a 1/2" spacer if needed.
Does that sound right or am I missing something?
