So in the next few days I'm doing a fair share of upgrades and such, such as adding some JL subs, getting a new battery, replacing power wiring with 1/0, fixing rattles, carpeting some things, doing the big 3, tightening door seals, reinstalling blown SR6500 tweeters, etc.
To start of I'm adding two JL Audio 6w3v3 6.5" subs to my front sound stage of my Cavy.
I'll cut the foreplay and get on with the install.
Here's the sub. There are two of them:
I'm making two seperate boxes for under the dash and in front of the cup holders. I'll need to cut out the small shelf to make room. One box wouldn't work because it wouldn't fit into position.
Four bolts and the center console comes right out.
This metal piece that part of the center console bolts to will need to get out of the way later.
Starting to make the front face of one box.
Cut out the circle with a coping saw.
Using wood glue and screws the walls started to come together.
