anyone heard kenwood excelon subs before?

I remember this guy used to pass by my house when i was smaller and his system was freaken loud it shook my windows, later on i asked him what he had and he said he had two 10" kenwood excelon subs in a bandbass box, i saw them on ebay and their freaken cheap but they look crappy as he!!.

has anybody ever used/seen/heard these subs?

you think two kicker comp vr 12" will sound louder?

Ive heard the comp vrs, IMO they are a MUCH better sounding and louder woofer. If they arent installed properly though, they will not be as loud. Its all in the install. Get a nice ported box made especially for them and they will sound good and be loud.

I have never heard them before but a local dealer carries them and JL Audio. I was talking to them about both products and asked if i should take the kenwoods over the w3v1's and he pondered it for a minute. Said since I had the power I should go with the w3's.

sadly i have a truck and sealed is the only thing i can install in it so i guess ill just give these two 12" kickers 1200 watts and see what they do sealed

Kenwood subs are really tight. They dont have much of an excursion! They definately sound this way!!!!
