Hello,

What is the best 2 way 6.5" components around $225.00. And the best place to order them? I will be running 150 Watts to them in the front of a 1996 civic 2 DR EX.

They will save you some money and you will be very happy with them. Do you already have the amp? I think rms is 90. What amp are you using?

Do you know if the CDT CL61a's will fit in the factory speaker holes in the doors of a 1996 honda civic? 6.5" openng -

I'm worried about the depth!!

You could easily get some spaces so that the cdt's would fit. I have the hd-62cf's and they sound great. Very smooth response.

Where do the spacers go? between the speakers and the opening in the door?

Yes, commonly referred to as a mounting bracket/plate. Very easy to make.
