DB Drive PT2000.1D

This has been an excellent amp for the year in which I've owned. I purchased this amp new and have never had any problems with it. The amp has two power, ground, and remote inputs (two power supplies). DB Drive's ratings are; 500 wrms @ 4 ohm, 1000 wrms @ 2 ohm, and 2000 wrms @ 1 ohm, however this amp is highly under rated and can easily handle lower impedance loads. The $1599 retail seems quite high in comparison with ratings, but at low impedance loads makes it more understandable. The amp can even see 16v applications without a sweat. I had this amp powering two DB Drive WD15D2 subs in a wall in a 98 Pontiac Firebird @ .5 and could run it all day long without it getting hot or even warm! I couldn't believe this amp NEVER get so much as warm. In this setup I had a custom built 180 amp alternator and a Kinetik HC2400 battery. I knew of two people running this amp at a .25 ohm load and it did great for burps and for it being such an extremely low impedance, and of course they did have enough voltage/battery upgrades to run such application. Overall I rate this amp 10/10! I also would recommend this amplifier to anyone who wants a powerful amp which will last a long time. PM if you would like to know more about this amplifier or would like pictures of it.
