What is the purpose of an ABC box? Any qualities better than a regular old ported?

I made a quad port 6th order based ABC style bandpass box for a single 8....

5.2 cubes, 4 chambers, one single 100 rms 8 = 138db

2 8s RE in the right ABC box tune correctly will sound very good.

You can use slot port but it's not recommanded. Round ports are much.

for a 15in. the box would be pretty big. I'd say about 6cu.ft.
