JL Audio W7

I was wondering if someone can help me remove my W7 woofer out of the box. Someone said if you remove the metal ring around it you can remove it, but do I have to apply lotta pressure to remove the ring? Also is there screws under the ring? Any information would help. Thanks.

P.S: Either the JL H.O. ported box or the Prowedge sealed.
