I'm a big fan of DC woofers. Their small box size and nice motor strength means you can put a ton of cone area and motor force in a pretty small enclosure vs other similar nature or class woofers, and they just really seem to pump sound out nicely. Might need some big ports, though. You can do like 2 15's in 6-7 cubes with 7000-9000w with DC, at least with vehicles. I'd also like to try the SSA Evil woofers in home audio, due to those subs liking a large sealed and ported box. I think that might really be beneficial with home audio. I mean, the Fsc of the SSA Evils can be iirc like 35 hz with full power 3500w, that's a super low sealed resonance; I actually talked to SSA about this one time. You could make a stupid 4th order bandpass with those that would play subsonic.
