PPI PCX amps rated at 12volts??????

I see all these PCX amps and they all say 12 volts, is that the max u can put into them or can u put say 13.8 in them with increased power? I'm confused somebody get back to me if you have any experince with them cause if theyre rated at 12v and u can put in more thats a bad ass amp

the amp is rated at 12 volts, if you have, lets say 14.4 volts, there will be more wattage put out of the amp, peace
