Second Battery Help

Ok guys this summer i plan to do a build that may be mediocre to some of you guys, but i'll be loud enough for me and louder than all of my friends thats for sure. Well, what i plan to do is... Single 12" AQ HDC3 and a AQ 1200d. Building new box to 38hz maybe a lil lower depending.And i plan to get a second battery for the trunk. Im not sure which batteries are cheap and good trunk batteries however so id like some help. I was thinking a kinetic or maybe an XS or a deka intimidator. I plan to keep the reg battery up front (650cca and 815or so ca). One question i have though is... How to connect the battery in the trunk to the alternator. Should i use a ring on the battery up front going from the pos's and neg's? Also do i fuse the wires going to the trunk battery? If so, how many amp fuse?
