sub frozen

what does it mean when a sub has frozen and will not move? i have one, and the only thing I can think that happened is there was some moisture in my trunk, and it got to the sub while it was hooked up. would moisture cause a sub to freeze up? is this repairable?

Did it make any weird sounds before this happened? Maybe your vc blew apart or unwound into the moving parts?

no, i don't ever remember anything weird happen. it sat for a while, then when i hooked it back up, i realized it.
