I don't wanna **** on anybody's thread but i just want people to know that they should wait before getting a g1 unless they are going to get the data plan.

There's mix reviews out there that you can/can't use the phone w/o a data plan. Others have said that as long as you have a data plan to activate the phone and then cancel the data plan then that would work too.

But I'd advise you guys to wait if you're planning to get an unlocked g1 and such.

I'm a technical care agent so i have some information and some of it i can't tell yall so its just a precaution
